Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) will offer at auction 43 vehicles: These are seized and unclaimed for various reasons: Abandonment, DUS, DUI, stolen, etc. Most have keys and will be started if possible. Any known deficiencies will be noted and they all sell to the highest bidder.

Vehicles need to be removed by 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 17th, 2026. This auction is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.  NO BUYER’S PREMIUM! No vehicles sold prior to the auction.

Therefore, announcements day of auction will take precedence over website information. All items listed for the auction are subject to prior claim by the owner unless the title has been put in the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office name, in that case the owner would have to purchase the vehicle at the auction – cash only.

LSO AUCTION TERMS: CASH, LOCAL CHECK, OR CARD (2.5% surcharge on card sales) auction date. Payment within 1 hour from conclusion of the auction. $100 minimum bid. NOTICE: Buyers purchasing a vehicle they currently own will be required to pay CASH, NO CHECKS, NO CARD. All items sell “AS IS” with no guarantees implied or expressed. The vehicle will be titled according to the way the buyer is registered at the auction. Any vehicles with a salvage title will be disclosed before selling. Vehicles older than 15 years will show EXEMPT on the title for mileage. Vehicles 15 years old or less will state NOT ACTUAL  for mileage on the title. A 7.25% State & City sales tax applies to all personal property sold unless the buyer has a State of Nebraska resale tax exemption number provided to the auction company.
